"We met Dr Andersen in 2003 when we were looking for our first horse. She helped us through that process in many ways, including answering endless questions as first time horse owners. Over the next 14 years she continued to be a wonderful vet to our horses (2 quarter horses, 1 grullo, a Tennessee Walker and a Missouri Foxtrotter). She encouraged us, educated us, took great care of our guys, and when the times came to say good-bye, she compassionately helped us through those tough days, too. This past summer ended our horse era, and our last two boys moved on to a new mountain home together, but we will always be grateful to the good care and friendship Dr Andersen consistently offered to our horses and us. We will miss that big white truck pulling up to our barn from time to time, and we wish Dr Andersen and Dr Cavalcanti all the best as they continue to offer this community great equine care."

""Thank you to Dr. Cavalcanti for your amazing care and compassion working with our horse Whisper in his final days. And thank you to Dr. Andersen for all of your years supporting Whisper and our other furry family members. It is very comforting knowing that I can always count on either of you in times of crises as well as for routine needs. You all are the best:)""

""I've been using Dr. Andersen as my equine vet for almost 3 years. She is smart and professional, and always has my horses' (and my) best interest in mind. She thoroughly evaluates each animal and takes the time to explain treatment options. She is also an outstanding chiropractor; my good barrel horse Danny loves her! An added bonus to the practice is Dr. Calvacanti. She is hard working, well educated and eager to learn. I trust my horses' health to Rocky Mountain Equine Clinic. ""

"Dr Shiloh is just a hands down great doc!! She not only has amazing work ethic but her professionalism and knowledge is hard to match! She has recovered two very difficult cases of colic where the outcome was grim. She goes above and beyond for her patients as well as the bill payer! Absolutely recommend this amazing young lady!"

"I have a 30 year old mare, owned her her entire life. She was severely injured a few weeks ago, do not know how, but her face swelled and she couldn't breathe. I discovered this at the early morning feeding. Called Rocky Mountain Equine and Dr. Cavalcanti came very quickly and went right to work saving her life by performing a tracheotomy. She went to the clinic hospital and was in intensive care for 4 days due to other complications. I'm impressed with the care and expertise that was shown by Dr. Cavalcanti, Dr. Andersen and the entire staff. They saved my beautiful best friend and were as careful with the costs as possible. They have a new, loyal and happy client! Very, very pleased with this business! Highly recommend."

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all you tried to do for Calvin and your gentle nature when the news was not what I wanted to hear."

"I have my horse in retirement and went away to London for a week. On the second day of my trip I got the dreaded phone call that my mare was colicing. With a team effort London was trailered to Rocky Mt equine clinic. The staff was fantastic about keeping me up to date and keeping me sane. They were upfront about the situation and very supportive with my decision. They also were more then happy to allow my mares companion donkey to spend the night. THANK YOU ALL!"
